Returns Policy

Your statutory rights remain unaffected. All the terms below are additional to those rights.

I want to return a product
We want to make returns as easy as possible for you. So if you are thinking about returning any products, you will need to let our Customer Service Department know by calling them on 0115 9113 500 (between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, closed Bank Holidays & Christmas) or by sending an e-mail to returns@homeandgardenstyle.co.uk You can return a product within 14 working days of the date of delivery. Any product that you wish to return must be in a saleable condition in its original packaging, unused & not assembled. We will consider the overall condition of the product being returned when making a refund. (This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of a faulty product.)

It's a non-faulty item. How do I get it back to you?
All large non-faulty items are subject to a returns charge of £15.75. This charge will be deducted from the refund. When you contact our Customer Service Department to inform them that you wish to return a product, please quote your invoice number and the reason for returning the product. They will give you a return authorisation number & our carrier will contact you to arrange collection. 

If your product is small, you will be asked to return the product to us at your own cost, together with a note of your return authorisation number. You will be given this number by our Customer Service Department when you notify them that you intend to return the product. We recommend that you use a courier that offers shipment tracking service and that you insure the product to its full value while in transit. 

Goods refused on delivery will be subject to a £15.75 returns charge. If goods are refused due to damage or incorrect goods etc then the returns charge will be borne by us. Deliveries refused and returned to us for any other reason then we will assume consent has been given by you to pay the returns charge, which will be deducted from the refund.

It's a faulty item - what do I do?
If your product develops a fault within 14 days of delivery, please let out Customer Service Department know by calling them on 0115 9113 500 (between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday closed Bank Holidays & Christmas) or by sending an e-mail to returns@homeandgardenstyle.co.uk.

You should provide us with proof of purchase when seeking to return a faulty item. If the product is small we will provide you with details on how to return the faulty product to us and will arrange to replace the product with a new one at no extra cost. Where the product is large, we will arrange for free collection. Depending on the fault we will either issue a full refund or replace the goods at no extra cost. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

If, on inspection, the goods are found not to be faulty/damaged then the refund will be subject to the returns charge outlined above and will be deducted from the refund.

When do I get my refund?
You will be refunded within 14 days of us receiving confirmation that the product has been returned to our warehouse. 

We comply with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
